This victory marked a back-to-back win for the Aces, as they also won the 2022 WNBA championship. However, for Gray, this was her third WNBA ring. In 2016, she won her first title as a player of the Los Angeles Sparks. And just days after winning her third championship, Gray’s life took a heartwarming turn.

The Aces star announced on social media that she is expecting a baby with her wife.

Tipesa Mercedes Moorer, now also known as Tipesa Gray, is also a basketball player. She left her mark as a forward for the California State University Long Beach. With her impressive skills and talent, she earned second-team All-Big West honors by averaging 12.7 points per game. Off the court, she even excelled in her academics as she was a three-time Big West All-Academic selection. 

Currently, she serves as director of operations for the Long Beach State women’s basketball program. In November 2019, Chelsea Gray and Tipesa Mercedes Moorer tied the knot. And since then, they have never looked back. As the beautiful couple is expecting a baby, the Aces team wasn’t behind in showing their love to them.
