As soon as the Aces defeated the Liberty 70-69 in Game 4 of the WNBA Finals, Nike posted something that had the fans excited. The official post reads, “Make that two for 2️⃣2️⃣. Congratulations @aja22wilson on winning back-to-back WNBA championships and your first Finals MVP. You are Her. Periodt.” 

In her No.22 Jersey, A’ja added two feathers to her cap in one night. Not only did she lift the WNBA title, but she was also adjudged the MVP for the first time in the Finals. However, the point of discussion was something else for the fans. They now join the NBA superstar LeBron James and demand signature kicks for A’ja.

In addition to this, LeBron closed a $90 million deal with Nike making himself the highest-paid rookie ever.

It’s no surprise that King James wants A’ja to have a similar legacy. Like James, the Aces star player has superseded the sport and become a true global icon.
