The silence surrounding Sophie Cunningham’s podcast has finally been broken, but not in the way many fans would have expected. After her Show Me Something podcast suddenly stopped releasing episodes in late June, speculation quickly grew over an apparent fallout between Cunningham and her co-host and high school best friend, West Wilson. Now, Cunningham has seemingly closed that chapter for good.

The Indiana Fever guard has launched a brand new podcast called the No Hesitation Show. And as shared by the official podcast X handle, Cunningham will now be joined by world-renowned basketball trainer Drew Hanlen as her new co-host.
“Sophie Cunningham is BACK with world-renowned basketball trainer Drew Hanlen. New episodes dropping every Thursday, with Episode 1 dropping later today. This is No Hesitation,” the post read.
Cunningham’s previous show with West Wilson was a lifestyle-oriented podcast that leaned heavily into the contrasting personal lives of its two hosts, balancing Cunningham’s basketball world and insider access to the Indiana Fever locker room with Wilson’s behind-the-scenes stories from Bravo’s Summer House, alongside casual conversations around food, fashion, and travel. The show, however, ended abruptly. And the reason behind that appears to many as a massive ideological divide between the two.
In July, Cunningham sparked a national media firestorm during an ESPN profile in which she voiced her opposition to transgender women participating in women’s sports, stating a desire to “protect young girls in a locker room.” Days later, her co-host West Wilson posted a direct rebuttal video on TikTok, openly defending transgender athletes and calling the debate a “borderline non-existent issue” and a political agenda.
While neither side has officially confirmed whether that ideological clash was the reason for the podcast’s abrupt end, the timing is impossible to ignore. No new episode of Show Me Something came out after that exchange.
However, beyond the public speculation, sources confirmed to Front Office Sports that the one-year contract for Show Me Something had officially expired. In fact, they claimed that conversations about moving on from Wilson and pivoting toward a basketball-centric programme had already been quietly in development for months before the show went dark.
That pivot is now confirmed, and it appears to be a deliberate and well-considered one. The No Hesitation Show is leaning strictly into basketball content, delivering unfiltered conversations, elite insight, and deep dives into both the WNBA and the NBA.
“Drew and I love this sport; we could talk basketball all day. Now we will,” Cunningham said in a statement issued jointly with Colin Cowherd’s The Volume network. “We’ll dive into everything around the WNBA and NBA and can’t wait to share our thoughts. The Volume has been an awesome partner in making that happen.”
And as Cunningham noted, her new partner Drew Hanlen brings serious credentials to the table. He is the CEO of Pure Sweat Basketball and one of the most respected skills trainers in the NBA. He works closely with superstars including Jayson Tatum, Joel Embiid, Zach LaVine, Tyrese Haliburton, and Bradley Beal, helping them refine mechanics, footwork, and mental approach at the highest level.
Before transitioning full-time into coaching and training, which he famously began doing as a teenager, Hanlen also had a brief playing career of his own. He was a point guard for the Belmont Bruins from 2008 to 2012.
As Cunningham and The Volume have announced, the new No Hesitation podcast featuring Sophie Cunningham and Drew Hanlen will now be a more basketball-focused show, built around the sport they both know best. Fans can expect basketball insight, behind-the-scenes stories from the league, and unfiltered conversations surrounding the WNBA and NBA. And those looking to follow the new show can tune in on Thursdays on Apple Podcasts and Spotify, or watch video episodes on the podcast’s official YouTube channel.
Highlights From Episode 1 of Sophie Cunningham’s New No Hesitation Podcast
The debut episode of Sophie Cunningham’s new No Hesitation podcast officially dropped on Thursday, September 10, and it was quite the basketball-heavy affair that it promised to be. One thing Sophie Cunningham did not do, however, was address why the previous show ended abruptly and what happened with her former co-host, West Wilson.
Instead, she and Drew Hanlen went straight into basketball, starting with the conversation about how Cunningham had texted Drew for help earlier in the season when she was shooting at a dismal rate from three. The two even went over some of her shots right there on the show, with Hanlen breaking down her shooting mechanics, the way she was taking her attempts and pointing out some of the things she could have done better.
Sophie Cunningham’s film was, in fact, not the only footage they discussed and broke down during the episode. The pair also did a film breakdown of Minnesota Lynx rookie Olivia Miles, with Hanlen describing the young guard as “super physical” and praising her ability to create a good angle. As they reviewed the clips one by one, Cunningham was also chipping in with her own observations and basketball perspective.
Other topics they covered included WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert’s retirement at the end of 2026. Cunningham even joked about wanting the job herself and outlined her direct, unfiltered checklist of what she would immediately change to improve the league for players.
Overall, just as Cunningham pointed out when discussing the direction of the new show, the majority of the conversations were related to basketball, with the duo discussing and analysing Kelsey Mitchell’s stats, with Cunningham describing her as her MVP, the Indiana Fever’s strategy and more about the WNBA. Indeed, it is really one that basketball fans who want core basketball conversations, analysis and insight would definitely love.
