In the world of sports, it’s rare for a social media manager to upstage a superstar, but that’s exactly what happened after the Indiana Fever’s latest post about Caitlin Clark.

The USA women’s basketball team will be playing its first game on March 11th, and as such, everyone is excited at the prospect of seeing their favorite stars come out under the bright lights in San Juan. With the WNBA undergoing a serious CBA situation and its future this year looking a bit bleak, the women’s basketball fans can now relish the stars coming back to play in their usual format in the FIBA World Cup qualifiers. As such, to celebrate the occasion, the Indiana Fever’s admin team recently shared a viral clip of Caitlin Clark herself.

The five-second clip shows Clark in Fever gear, egging the crowd on, and the crowd letting out a stadium-deafening roar at her behest with a very funny caption. It’s so loud that you can almost feel the intensity through your screens as she screams, “Come on,” and that clip has fans swooning over one thing: that the Indiana Fever admin deserves a raise for this genius post.

Imagine the atmosphere in San Juan now. Caitlin Clark is making her comeback of sorts after nearly eight months.
Caitlin, along with the likes of Paige Bueckers, Angel Reese, and Kelsey Plum, will all be there representing Team USA as they take on Senegal in their opening contest. The last time fans got to see Caitlin was on July 15, when she injured her right groin. So it’s game on now, and now this spirited post from the fans has got them talking.
Fans Demand A Bonus For Indiana Fever Admin For Going All Out In Supporting CC
Fans didn’t were quick to praise the dedication shown by the Indiana Fever admin who went all out to show their support.
“Ohhhh, give this admin a bonus,” said a fan who was truly captivated by the post. “This Admin needs a raise!!!! Make it happen!” pleaded another fan.
This has been a trend ever since Caitlin Clark began preparing for her international debut. The Fever admin had shared snippets of Caitlin Clark’s photos in her international uniform on Instagram to celebrate this landmark in her career.
The way the Indiana Fever is supporting their star is worth mentioning. They are leaving no stones unturned to get the fans behind their star player, and if you are looking at a prospective career in marketing, it won’t be wrong to take out your notepad and scribble down Indiana’s marketing strategy.
The USA has already qualified after winning the AmeriCup alongside Belgium (EuroBasket Women), Australia (Asia Cup), and Nigeria (AfroBasket), and Germany, being the host, earned automatic qualification.
“Who is the Caitlin-loving new admin?! we’ve been waiting for this kind of love for CC!” said another comment, happy that their superstar was getting the respect she deserves.
When Caitlin Clark is involved, there’s no shortage of love on either side as fans love everything she does. And Caitlin, too, loves putting it all on the line for them. Though immensely popular of her own accord, the fans still feel the spotlight has somewhat eluded her in recent years because of the injury she sustained, keeping her out of action for so long, and now is the time for her to come back and reclaim her throne.
The admin’s post is a great example of supporting a star player. “The @IndianaFever admin is COOKING,” said another fan.
Of course, they are, and without the photos, we wouldn’t have known how the jersey number has changed for CC over time. Fans who were used to seeing her donning the No. 22 jersey will now get to see her put on the No. 12 jersey instead. This change in question was a direct result of FIBA regulations, which ask for players to wear jersey numbers from 4 to 15.
This rule was originally intended to help referees signal fouls clearly, avoiding confusion with lower numbers like 1, 2, or 3, and was later ruled outdated by FIBA in 2014, but USA Basketball still uses numbers 4–15 to preserve tradition.
Whatever the Indiana admin seems to be doing at the moment is working, and if Team USA can play at their usual best, maybe we will witness many more classic posts from the Fever admin. Who knows, a meme or two wouldn’t hurt either.
