A’ja Wilson forgets to get her hair done before Game 3

The Las Vegas Aces were in complete control of the Finals series against the New York Liberty. However, the Liberty managed to steal one victory from the Aces. The Liberty took the third game 87-73 against the Aces. Following this, fans started speculating the reason behind A’ja’s dull show at the Barclays Centre. The powerful No.22 of the Aces provided them with one. She posted a tweet on her account saying, “TL sleep?? Ok! my hair wasn’t done game 3 and when my hair not done ..I’m a mess so once I I got my hair done I was good sorry Aces fans.” This tweet is now re-shared on Instagram captioned,”And, this is why she gets her hair done before every game, it’s that serious ‼️ @aja22wilson @lauren.renee.__ on the braids.”  

Fans were quick to react to this. While most of the fans complimented her the way she looks, others feel that they can let the Game 3 slide as she is now a two-time champion. Moreover, her fans are glad to know that she didn’t forget about her hair before Game 4. As a result, A’ja Wilson scored 24 points and led the Aces to championship glory once more.

Throwback to Aja’s championship season

A’ja Wilson had a very formidable 2022-23 season in the WNBA. She averages among the top WNBA players when it comes to points, rebounds and blocks per game. Moreover, the Finals MVP had an average of 22.8 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. Earlier this season, Wilson scripted history by scoring 53 points and 7 rebounds against the Atlanta Dream. She tied the WNBA single-game scoring record. In addition to this, Wilson averaged  23.8 points and 11.8 rebounds per game in the Finals series.

A’ja Wilson clearly seems upset for not giving the Aces fans a clean sheet in the WNBA Finals series.
