After bagging the 2023 WNBA championship, A’ja Wilson led Aces are having a blast. Following their triumph over the New York Liberty in Finals Five, they became the first WNBA team to achieve back-to-back crown victories in 21 years. In the backdrop of their sweeping performance, the Aces had a Post Championship Parade at the Toshiba Plaza in Las Vegas.

However, victories don’t come in handy, and a player always has to keep up the Mamba Mentality Mindset, put aside the adversaries, and win.

The Aces have seen it all through from personal adversaries to a significant team win. Just like Black Mamba Kobe Bryant, Plum and Wilson didn’t get distracted from their goal to win. A’ja Wilson earned the Finals MVP because of her performance throughout the series, however, broke her thumb during the postseason.

Despite her injury, which could have broken down the game, she led her team to their back-to-back championship victory. Her incredible determination and skill were a reflection of Kobe’s Mamba Mentality, as this time she had one of the best postseason runs ever.

Evidently, she averaged 23.8 points, 11.8 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 2.3 blocks on a shooting percentage of 55.4% in the playoffs. Moreover, she averaged 21.3 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game on a 50% shooting percentage. Also, in one game, Wilson scored 16 points on 4-of-16 shooting from the floor, including 8 for 10 from the free throw line in just 35 minutes.

On the other hand, Kelsey Plum played with injured fingers, however, her performance throughout the series has been phenomenal, making a significant contribution to the Aces’ victory. In Game 1, Plum scored 26 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 assist. Next in Game 2, she scored 23 points, 1 rebound, and 8 assists. However, despite losing Game 3, Plum scored 29 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists.
