With both sides boasting a star-studded roster, there hasn’t been a more anticipated WNBA Finals in history. The NY Liberty looks to snatch the crown from the Aces. With both teams having excelled this season, fans and stars alike have been left excited about the matchup. Meanwhile, a former 4x WNBA champion took to X (formerly Twitter) to voice her excitement.

Seattle Storm and WNBA legend Sue Bird recently took to X as she expressed her excitement over the WNBA Finals. The Las Vegas Aces have been pitted against the NY Liberty in the Finals. And Bird looks to be relishing the matchup.

The 13x WNBA All-Star expressed her emotions around the matchup as she was ecstatic with the unseen scriptwriters of the WNBA. Bird humorously commended the “script” as she posted, “Vegas vs NY? The one time I’m happy the ‘script’ was executed. WNBA finals about to be epic.

Bird was not alone in her assessment. Many fans took to the comment section to voice their excitement about the “script“. Many showed their enthusiasm for the faceoff between Breanna Stewart and A’ja Wilson as well.

5x Euro league champion Sue Bird was one of the few showing their excitement for this faceoff. Her “script” comments are a reflection of the two biggest stars facing each other in the Finals. Bird was not alone in her views as the comments agreed with her analogy. One fan was seemingly in sync with Sue’s thoughts. He commented, “‘Script’ is the exact word for it!
