In a sea of chaos, Natasha Howard is currently Indiana’s only constant. Winning the Commissioner’s Cup final was just a drop in the bucket when it comes to the vet’s contribution to the team. The six-foot-two forward has taken the lead during Caitlin Clark’s injury and is putting up impressive averages of 11.2 points and 6.7 rebounds in limited minutes. Not to mention, her last three games have been exquisite double-double performances!

Even after the Commissioner’s Cup final against the Minnesota Lynx, Howard proved that she isn’t a one-hit wonder and has been in the league for a reason. In just 25 minutes, she led the Fever to an 81-54 victory over the Las Vegas Aces, a team that they’ve not won against since 2019. “Phee’s a great player, but my thing was, make her take hard shots, and that’s what I did tonight,” she said after the win.

Without a doubt, she earned the Commissioner’s Cup MVP, and her impact on the team was larger than life. The MVP shouts just keep on coming, as the Indiana Fever released a heartwarming video recently.
