The Indiana Fever may have seen their 2026 playoff journey come to an end earlier than they might have expected. However, the way NBA star Tyrese Haliburton sees it, it was still one hell of a season that the Fever had.

Following the Fever’s 94-83 loss to the Las Vegas Aces on Thursday night, the NBA star took to his X page to show his support for the team following their disappointing playoff exit.

“Helluva season @IndianaFever❤️”

While Haliburton praising the Fever was yet another example of just how popular Caitlin Clark and company are, they fell short of their ultimate goal. After narrowly losing to the Aces in a hard-fought five-game series during the 20225 semifinals, it did feel like this season would end in an even better result for the Fever.

Last season, it was easier to understand their playoff run, as the Fever were plagued by injuries and played without Caitlin Clark. Yet they still made it to the semifinals, defeating the Atlanta Dream in the first round and pushing the Aces to the brink in the semis.

This season, however, they found themselves in a considerably better position. They ended their regular-season campaign with a 28-16 record, finishing second in the Eastern Conference, setting a francise record for regular-season wins and entering the postseason as the No. 6 seed overall.

Led by head coach Stephanie White and a powerful “Big Three,” the Fever also boasted the WNBA’s highest-scoring offense during the regular season, averaging 96.0 points per game and breaking multiple league records. In fact, that 96.0-point average made them the most explosive and highest-scoring offense in WNBA history.

They also crossed the triple-digit threshold in 20 different regular-season games, setting a new league record. And with Kelsey Mitchell averaging 24.7 points per game and Caitlin Clark 22.3 points per game, they became the highest-scoring teammate duo in WNBA history, combining for a record-breaking 47.0 points per game.

Therefore, it’s not difficult to see why some fans quickly found themselves agreeing with Tyrese Haliburton despite the team’s disappointing first-round playoff exit.

“Agree. 🥵 🔥 Already can’t wait until next season.”

Another fan also highlighted how the players had given everything throughout the season, saying, “Much love for our girls; they played their hearts out.”

Some fans were even especially appreciative of Haliburton’s support of the team, which, of course, is not his first time showing love to the Fever.

“LOVE your constant support of these ladies! Can’t wait to see you back on the court too 💙💛.”

For some fans, however, their gaze is now set on the future, hoping for a stronger playoff run next season, which could be an opportunity for Caitlin Clark and the rest of the Fever to finally win the WNBA championship.

“Typical Indy spirit…. maybe next year.”

“Fr… the time for them and CC to win a championship will come soon.”

Speaking on the season herself, Caitlin Clark also reflected positively on her campaign, describing it as the best season of her career.

“This is like obviously the most basketball I’ve played in any year of my career. And obviously, I didn’t play much last year, but I was able to come out here and put together the best season I’ve had and perform at a really high level and basically get better in every area.”

“Still feel like I have so many areas to improve. So I guess that’s the most exciting part moving forward.”

One of the biggest areas of improvement for the Indiana Fever would be their defense. Despite becoming the best offensive team in the league, their defensive holes meant other teams scored on them.

With the 2026 season now behind them, the Fever will have the offseason to regroup, build on what they accomplished, and return better prepared for another run next season.
