Revenge was served. Sure, Minnesota had to give up the Commissioner’s Cup, but there was no way the Lynx were going to stomach something they hadn’t all season: three straight losses. Against Indiana, it wasn’t just about revenge anymore, it was about pride. Fresh off stumbles against the Liberty and Dream, the league’s best returned to the win column. Now, as they return home, the mission is clear, complete the two-game sweep, especially with the Fever limping in shorthanded.

Indiana Fever vs Minnesota Lynx Prediction
Realistically, on paper, this looks lopsided. If Napheesa Collier suits up, the Lynx could be at full strength, while Indiana is hanging on with just 10 healthy players after a brutal run of injuries. Yes, they signed Aerial Powers on a seven-day contract to help, but losing their core stars makes this an uphill battle.
The numbers back it up: Minnesota is nearly unbeatable at home (17-1), while the Fever are 9-8 on the road. The Lynx also boast one of the stingiest defenses in the league, regularly holding opponents under 80. The Fever, on the other hand, play fast and can light up the scoreboard, even without Caitlin Clark, they’ve posted multiple 90+ nights. The problem is their defense. It often gives those points right back.
Their last meeting was a shootout (95-90 Fever win), with Kelsey Mitchell dropping 27 and Lexie Hull setting a career-high with 23. The Lynx had their own fireworks too with Kayla McBride scoring 29, while Jessica Shepard recorded her first career triple-double.

That said, while both teams have players who can heat up and it could still be a high scoring contest, it feels like Indiana’s injuries might finally catch up to them. Minnesota’s defense, home-court edge, and the possible return of Collier tilt the scale hard.
Prediction: Lynx to win comfortably. ESPN’s model gives them a 75.3% chance, too.
