Caitlin Clark continues to hype her Nike Caitlin 1s as she dropped a post featuring all the colorways of her signature sneakers that she wore in August. Her teammates, along with the WNBA fraternity, did not waste any time reacting to her post, which mentions Clark looking forward to the upcoming FIBA World Cup.

“Had some fun in August… see you at the World Cup 💚💛🩷🩵,” read Clark’s Instagram post on August 30, showcasing the yellow, pink, orange, and blue colorways, among others, of her signature shoes.
Teammate Aliyah Boston immediately rushed to the comment section to show her excitement about Clark’s post.
“Swag level on 100😮💨,” Aliyah Boston replied to Clark’s post.
Other Indiana Fever players soon joined in on showering their praise.
“Mamacita ❤️,” said Raven Johnson.
“Come thru, twin🔥🫣,” added Makayla Timpson, cheering on Team USA for the World Cup, of which Clark is an integral part.
The admiration for Clark’s sneakers was not limited to her Fever teammates, as Kate Martin, who was recently waived by the Los Angeles Sparks in a surprise roster move, showered her with praise as well.
“Buckets 🤙🏼,” said Martin in the post’s comments.
Clark announced the release of her signature Nike shoes, the Nike Caitlin 1, back in June this year, and the sneakers have remained in the news ever since, with Clark dropping new colorways and editions at regular intervals.
On Wednesday, Clark unveiled the Taylor Swift friendship bracelet-inspired Caitlin 1s. The sneakers featured a pink, silver, and blue color combination, apparently inspired by Taylor Swift fans’ tradition of making friendship bracelets for her concerts.
The hype among the fans has only increased in the last few months, and the official global release of the shoes is expected to be on October 1, and they are expected to be priced around $140, per a report by Sports Illustrated.
Clark and Co. defeated the Connecticut Sun in their last game before the FIBA World Cup, and the win gave Clark the perfect time to drop this message. She finished the night with 34 points, while adding 12 assists as well. Kelsey Mitchell added 34 points as well.
Clark is part of the USA World Cup squad, along with her teammate Aliyah Boston. The FIBA World Cup will be held in Berlin, Germany, from September 4 to September 13. Team USA will take on China in their first game on September 4.
Caitlin Clark’s rich form should be an added advantage for the USA team, as she reflected on her current mindset after the Connecticut Win.
“I probably feel the best I’ve felt in my career, from like a confidence standpoint too,” she said after the win over the Sun, per Sports Illustrated.
Caitlin Clark is part of Indiana’s Big Three along with Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell, who are leading their charge for their first championship since 2012. She is averaging 22.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 8.4 assists per game this season and leads the league in assists, tied with Phoenix Mercury’s Alyssa Thomas.
Clark recently became the first player in WNBA history to record at least 30 points and 10 assists in back-to-back games, and now has six games exceeding 30 points and 10 assists this season, which is more than the rest of WNBA history combined.
Her playmaking prowess can be gauged from the fact that she is the only player ever to feature in the top ten of the scoring list while leading the WNBA in assists.
She is also the only player with 800+ Points & 300+ assists in a single season, and became the first player ever to hit 300+ assists and 100+ three-pointers in a single campaign. The Indiana Fever even put up a post on X celebrating her achievement.
The Fever are now locked in an intense battle for the fourth position with the Atlanta Dream, and would hope to have Caitlin Clark fit and firing as they take on the Toronto Tempo on September 18 after the World Cup break.
