Remember the Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kelsey Plum ad for LegalZoom from earlier this month? Looks like the saga is continuing. After the All-Star Weekend 3-point challenge, fans want to see more of the NBA and the WNBA on the same stage. But before a sporting event, the two basketball leagues have returned to raise awareness related to small businesses. Consequently, the two megastars have joined hands with LegalZoom. While the two stellar players are doing an incredible job with the ads, their ongoing interaction is a magnet for the fans.

The script is set for the entire NBA and WNBA seasons beginning in March. Hence, with another episode in, we have the 2x MVP trying to perfect his lines. In their Instagram post, LegalZoom and Antetokounmpo show that perfection is not something that you are born with. But it is something everyone achieves over time and with practice. While the video was quite captivating, fans captured something in the comments. Kelsey Plum said, “It’s still a no from me on the wooden pillow.” To this, the Milwaukee Bucks forward replied, “The wooden pillow is now our bestseller.”

With the two players making the entire Fast Break for Small Business campaign a superhit with their latent acting skills, the two seem to also have great humor. If you don’t get the context yet, it is back from April 3, 2024. In the previous ad campaign, Kelsey had reached out to the Greek Freak to learn about how to start her own business. The video ended with the Greek-Nigerian hooper trying to sell Plum a wooden pillow from his business named ‘The Greek Teak’. She responded with a clear, “No.”

So, with so many creative ideas going into their simple short yet comical ads, what is the campaign all about?

The grant will also aid through providing the capital, tools, and expertise. The finances will be equally divided between the two categories. $1.5 million will go to the 150 small businesses that already exist. At the same time, the other half will help the emerging 3000 new small businesses with products and services.

It is great to see the professional basketball leagues and immaculate players like Kelsey Plum and Giannis Antetokounmpo support such a cause. Are you excited to see how the two interact in their next ad?
