Two-time NBA champion Chris Bosh picked the Lynx as his predicted 2026 WNBA champions. He would have earned plenty of praise from Lynx fans for recognizing how strong their team has been. However, he made the costly error of getting their golden rookie, Olivia Miles’ name wrong, and that’s something they couldn’t let slide.

In a video posted on his X page, Bosh praised their overall form. While speaking highly of the Lynx, Bosh repeatedly referred to Olivia Miles as “Olivia Miller”.

“The Minnesota Lynx are my pick to win the Championship in the W,” Bosh said following the Lynx’s recent 85-77 victory over the Dallas Wings. “They’re killing it right now, just had a big win in Dallas… The Lynx are 15 and 4 right now. They have a tremendous back court with Courtney Williams, with Kayla McBride, with Olivia Miller. If you haven’t seen Olivia Miller… she’s cold, she can play…”

Bosh went on to say even more about Olivia Miles, calling her the Rookie of the Year for sure and pointing out that she is having a wonderful year. He also mentioned that adding Miles to an already stellar Lynx team has made them even better.

All the points Bosh made in the video were true. The Lynx are number one in the league standings with a 15-4 record. And Olivia Miles has been a key part of that, averaging 18.7 points, 5.7 assists, and 4.8 rebounds.

Miles is also shooting an unprecedented 52% from the floor and 89.5% from the free-throw line, which is exceptional for a guard. She also currently ranks 10th in the WNBA in scoring and ninth in assists per game, outperforming many of the league’s seasoned veteran stars. All this places her as the top favorite for Rookie of the Year.

However, no matter how true everything Chris Bosh was saying was, fans couldn’t ignore the error he made. As a result, a section of Lynx fans did not hold back on roasting the NBA legend.

Minnesota Lynx Fans Were Quick to Call Out the Mistake

For some fans, Chris Bosh’s mistake only convinced them that his comments on the Lynx and Olivia Miles were performative. They believe he is not even really familiar with the team or player he was talking about.

“Um d*** do you even know who Olivia Miles is? Or were you just paid to say this?” a fan said. Another fan, who also clearly doubted how much Bosh actually knew about Miles, said, “lol love the love of the team while not knowing the name of the person he was championing as rookie of the year. It’s Olivia MILES, d***… It ain’t Miller.”

However, despite the flood of comments correcting him, Bosh did not respond or apologize for getting the WNBA rookie’s name wrong in the comments section.

Some fans, on the other hand, trolled him for the mistake, correcting it and even making jokes about it. “I have no idea who Olivia Miller is. I know Olivia MILES,” one fan said. Another fan also made a Mike Miller joke, saying, “You miss Mike Miller I understand.”

Even the fans who agreed with Bosch’s assessment couldn’t help but point it out. “Get my girl name right old head Olivia miles in I agree we need a new Champ I will love to see Cheryl Reeve and Minnesota to win,” one fan said.

Since making the WNBA prediction, he has made two more videos. One was on Kawhi Leonard and the other on Ja Morant, but he hasn’t said anything about getting Miles’ name wrong in either of those two videos.
