The New York Liberty came very close to taking the Finals series to a tiebreaker fifth game. The home team has to swallow a bitter pill of defeat by the hands at the Aces on Wednesday night. However, before the loss, the Liberty’s Sabrina Ionescu was having trouble digesting something else. The sold-out Barclays Center witnessed something unusual in the fourth quarter of this thrilling game.

Game 4 of the WNBA Finals series went down to the wire. In a nerve-wracking encounter, The Aces went past the Liberty with the final scoreboard reading 70-69. However, some fans also saw Sabrina Ionescu vomiting in a garbage bin during a critical moment in the match. Soon after scoring a big three, the heat of the moment got to her, and she had no choice but to throw up. The score was even-steven with both the teams scoring 62 points each.

Describing this unfamiliar sight the commentator said, “You talk about nerves in a Finals moment. Sabrina Ionescu who just hit a big three came over the sideline and lost the contents of her stomach. She told me that she gets nervous before games.”

Although the Liberty staff tried to hide this uncomfortable moment, the incident was caught on camera. Nevertheless, moments later, the Liberty’s point guard was getting ready to play with her teammates.

Sabrina Ionescu’s awkward moment in the match didn’t go down well with the fans. She wouldn’t have had much time to grieve over her loss when the fans started trolling her.

Fans also took it to Twitter and recalled Micheal Jordan’s iconic flu game from the 1997 NBA Finals Game 5. “MJ had the flu and never did this shit.”

Another fan was disappointed with her performance and wrote below the video, “Just never seemed like Ionescu sank her teeth into this series. It appears nerves were a MASSIVE factor in her otherwise underwhelming production in the series. Hit big shots tonight though.”

Sabrina spilled her guts out elated an Aces fan. She wrote, “Las Vegas does that…but truthfully this game was INTENSEEE.“

Some fans were also quick to assume Sabrina’s press addressing. They said, “That was her reaction when the reporter asked her to describe how Breanna Stewart was playing.” It seems they’re not a fan of Breanna Stewart.

Another disappointed Liberty’s fan wrote, “Really sadd, should have took it to game 5, y’ll made it look like you shouldn’t have made it to the Finals.”
