Reports have revealed that the BIG3 tournament made a stunning offer to NCAA superstar Caitlin Clark. Although there has not been any official confirmation from the league about the offer, fans were interested to know the details. Well, BIG3’s CEO Ice Cube is here, who has confirmed the rumors, and also has dwelled deep into the offer. 

When asked about the financial side of BIG3’s offer to Clark, Ice Cube shared, “We don’t really want to go all the way into the deal and everything we have offered. If she agrees it’ll all come out. With us it’s kind of a NIL situation, our sponsors are clamoring, they would love for her to join the league, and if she joined the league, they would support the league even more…The money is there if she decides to join a league with no problem. Just sitting there waiting for her.”

Reports stated that the BIG3 made a $5 million offer to Clark. The WNBA’s offer for Clark’s rookie year is estimated at around $750k to $1 million. Ice Cube has not confirmed if the deal is worth $5 million. However, it is said to be a big offer. 

Clark on the other hand doesn’t seem too invested in participating in the BIG3. At the moment, she is locked in to win the college national championship. Only after this dream run comes to an end, Clark will consider the offer. “I found out about the Big3 thing at the exact time you all did… My main focus is on this team and helping us find a way to beat Colorado and hopefully win another one after that”, told Clark.
