Oh, what a year 2025 has been for Paige Bueckers! NCAA Champion. First overall pick in the WNBA Draft by the Dallas Wings. WNBA Rookie of the Year. On December 30, Bueckers posted on Instagram to announce her newest collaboration, and honestly, she might have manifested this one!

“A true dream collab 🥹 So excited to partner with the @lego Group to empower creativity through play!” the 24-year-old guard wrote.

With this collaboration, she aims to build more than just records. She has her focus on the empowerment of the next generation of girls through creative play, drawing upon the confidence and mindset she uses to dominate the court. This partnership is all about inspiring kids everywhere to dream big, whether that’s on the court or with bricks at home.

And if you think from a business point of view, this collaboration makes sense. For years, she has openly talked about her love of LEGO, posting about building sets that range from Disney castles to the Eiffel Tower and delicate LEGO roses. An exhibit of the same was posted by the WNBA on its Facebook page on December 5.

The question was simple: “Hey, Paige. If you could be a first-round draft pick in anything outside of basketball, what would it be?”

The response? Even simpler.

“Umm… anything? First-round pick LEGO builder,” said the Wings guard.

If not already explicit, Bueckers really does spend her free time putting together complicated builds. This makes her a real ambassador for the brand’s mission to encourage creativity and problem-solving through play.

Even last December, her excitement went viral when she and her former UConn teammate Jana El Alfy showed off almost 20 LEGO sets in a TikTok video that got millions of views. The clip showed piles of unopened boxes and finished builds in her room.

The same spirit of sharing joy through LEGO lived on this season with Unrivaled’s Breeze BC. Kate Martin’s Instagram story showed that Bueckers gave her teammates Christmas baskets with Lesser Evil popcorn, LEGO sets, shoes, candy, and custom “Paige Bucks.”

The LEGO deal is a great addition to an already impressive list of partnerships that includes Nike and Gatorade, which greatly increases her earning potential beyond her WNBA salary. And adding to the list last month, she announced her partnership with Fanatics.

Paige Bueckers landed her biggest partnership deal

The biggest deal she made this year was in the world of collectibles. In November, Bueckers signed an exclusive, multiyear deal with Fanatics Authentic, which puts her in the same league as the best players in the WNBA.

She was really excited about what the collaboration could do: “Partnering with Fanatics is a game-changer for me. They’re the clear leader in the memorabilia industry and understand what matters most—the relationship between athletes and their fans. I couldn’t be more excited to work together, create incredible products, and continue to elevate women athletes and our game to new levels while building stronger connections for fans and collectors everywhere.”

The partnership includes both her time at UConn and in the WNBA. Fans can buy signed basketballs, jerseys, pictures, shoes, and other gears that were used in games. Every year, Fanatics will also make significant donations to the Paige Bueckers Foundation, which backs sports, arts, food, and health programs that promote fairness.
