Paige Bueckers has spent most of her second WNBA season making headlines for her outstanding play on the court. But during her latest interview, it took just two lighthearted words for the Dallas Wings star to spark a wave of online reactions.

During an interview with Overtime WBB, host Emma Utterback asked Bueckers about who she would want to “swap live with for a day,” and Utterback could barely finish asking the question before Bueckers replied Tom Holland without a second thought, stunning the interviewer before both of them broke into laughter.
“At first I’m like, wait,” Utterback said, before going, “Oh, okay.”
Bueckers smiled, quipping, “Makes sense now, right?”
In fact, Utterback was so surprised by how quickly Paige Bueckers answered the question that she commented on Overtime WBB’s post, writing, “you can tell the EXACT moment I understood.”
This isn’t the first time Bueckers has barely hesitated when answering a question involving Zendaya. In September 2025, while appearing on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the host asked the Dallas Wings star which celebrity she would love to see outside during a Wings game, and even then Bueckers named Zendaya.
Meanwhile, during her latest interview with Utterbeck, Bueckers didn’t hide the crush she had on Zendaya by saying she would switch places with her husband.
The Spider-Man actor confirmed back in June 2026 that he and Zendaya had gotten married while talking to Esquire. He told the magazine that he didn’t need to debunk AI-generated pictures of their marriage to relatives because they were there at his actual wedding.
