A’ja Wilson on Caitlin Clark

While responding to various tweets for Complex Sports, A’ja Wilson faced many instances where haters tried to get into her head. However, the video posted on the official Instagram account of the WNBA and Complex Sports showed the five-time WNBA All-Star replying to them in the classic A’ja Wilson style. One of the tweets said, “A’ja Wilson blocked me ’cause I said her saying Raven Johnson got the brightest future in women’s college basketball instead of Caitlin Clark was hating. They do not like that girl, trust me. LOL.”

Wilson responded to this with, “I highly doubt I blocked you for that.” She continued, “I don’t think I’ve ever hated on a college player. They are in college, let them live. I’m in the pros, I’m not worried about them. But I will see them soon.” A’ja Wilson surely stopped this person from going on and spreading rumors about her hating the NCAA players.

However, this was not all that A’ja responded with. She also called out this person for her spelling.

A’ja clearly has strong feelings about people misspelling her name. In fact, she stood against her haters and taught them the correct way to spell her name. She said, “You spelled my name wrong. It’s a lowercase ‘j’.” Additionally, she did not forget to attach a note for her hater and said, “Sir, I don’t even know who you are. And according to your avi, I do not want to know who you are.”

It is fun to watch how A’ja Wilson takes on the hate and turns into just glitters and sparkles around her. Surely, she believes that the role she is in and the rank she is at comes with haters and admirers alike. Nevertheless, she is completely focused on being a great baller and doing good around her. And surely, she has many fans for that very reason.
