Back in September, Angel Reese and Reebok rolled out her first-ever signature sneaker line with sky-high expectations. However, no one predicted the one problem that would define its launch: demand so great that they would struggle to keep up. And now, after months of sellouts and restocks, Reebok is making its next major move around the Chicago Sky star.

In an effort to keep up with the demands, the sports brand announced on Monday that a new colorway of the AR1s, “Midnight Diamond Dust,” will officially drop on December 11, 2025, marking one of Reebok’s biggest holiday releases.

In the beginning, the shoes were launched in only three main styles: ‘Diamond Dust’, ‘Mebounds’ (pink), and ‘Receipts Ready’ (black/white), and sold out within minutes of their launch. So, Reebok continues to launch new editions, like ‘Charm City’, ‘Tiago’, and now the ‘Midnight Diamond Dust’, to meet fans’ requirements.

While it’s the first time since Angel Reese’s signature line debuted that Reebok has pushed out a new edition without the usual campaign photos or splashy promotional rollout, the “Midnight Diamond Dust” is more than just an all-black variation. The triple-black silhouette features grey detailing and a soft sparkle designed to shine on and off the court.

“From sun up to sun down, the ‘Midnight Diamond Dust’ colorway represents the long days followed by long nights of putting in the work. Like the original Diamond Dust colorway, this new edition is for all those who hustle to achieve their dreams,” Reese said as per SI.

The Angel Reese 1 sticks with the brand’s USP – Energy Return System (ERS) cushioning, a molded TPU upper for durability, and a heel stability cup built for physical, interior-style players like Angel Reese. The shoes are set to retail for $120 in adult sizes on Reebok.com and at Dick’s Sporting Goods, with Kids’ sizing also available directly through their official website. So, if you’re one of the many fans who’ve missed every restock so far, this drop might finally be your chance to lock down a pair

But this latest drop is only one chapter in a broader push that shows just how much Angel Reese has become the saving hand for Reebok as the brand works its way back into the sport of basketball.

How Angel Reese became the centerpiece of Reebok’s Basketball revival

As one of the few players in league history to earn a signature shoe deal, Reese has become the face of the sports brand under Shaquille O’Neal. As per reports, her sneakers have repeatedly outsold the company’s NBA drops, making the AR1s one of 2025’s most talked-about performance models, so much so that even NBA players are now wearing them to their games.

The early demand for the shoes was so strong that Reebok Head of Basketball Jide Osifeso called her signature line a historic acceleration, according to Andscape.

A major part of Reebok’s plan is tapping into the youth audience that sees WNBA stars like Angel Reese as cultural icons as they expand into Big Kids’ sizes, which is all set to arrive in colorways like Paradise Pink, Black, and Ftwr White.
