According to the latest updates, Bueckers has pledged to match donations up to $50,000 to the Hopkins Strong Relief Fund, a cause directly tied to her hometown and high school community. The fund supports vulnerable families in the Hopkins Public Schools District 270, helping with food, rent, and utilities amid growing concerns stemming from recent ICE operations in the Twin Cities.

“Community is how opportunity begins. When Hopkins families are supported with food and care, our young people can thrive. That’s why my foundation is committed to supporting the youth and families of Hopkins,” the young star said.

As a Hopkins Royals alum, Paige Bueckers has long maintained close ties to the community where she first rose to prominence as a basketball star. But this time her commitment comes at a crucial time.

The Hopkins Education Foundation has confirmed the fund has already raised more than $50,000 toward its $250,000 goal. So with her pledge, every donation made from now on will be matched dollar-for-dollar, doubling the support for families in need. Moreover, the funds will also benefit the ICA Food Shelf, which provides essential assistance to families across the district, including Hopkins, Minnetonka, Edina, Eden Prairie, St. Louis Park, Golden Valley, and Plymouth.

“Paige’s support means the world to us,” HEF Executive Director Emily Wallace-Jackson said. “The Hopkins community is so proud of Paige and her accomplishments on the court, but mostly we are proud of her as a person. Her generous donation will help families who are struggling to make ends meet, especially our immigrant families.”

But this is just the latest example of her ongoing commitment to her hometown.
