Sabrina Ionescu’s shoes make waves in the NBA

NBA players including Jordan Poole, DaQuan Jeffries, Mikal Bridges, and Jrue Holiday have all been photographed sporting the Sabrina 1s on game days since their launch. The Brooklyn Nets’ Bridges has never been bashful about his shoe selection, donning the Sabrina 1s both at team activities and during overseas play. Cade Cunningham, a prominent baller who joined Rowa, lately showed off his skills on a flawless white Sabrina.

Sabrina even posted a picture of Cade donning a white Sabrina during his latest outing. The Pistons had won their third game of the season after suffering 28 straight losses—the greatest losing run in NBA history for a single season and matched for the longest losing streak the league has ever seen overall.

The Pistons were able to eventually halt this embarrassing run thanks to 30 points and 12 assists from Cade Cunningham and some clutch shooting from Kevin Knox, Alec Burks, and Bojan Bogdanovic.

Cunningham became the first Piston to record a 30-point, 10-assist, zero-turnover game since Chauncey Billups in the process. With that, the Pistons’ record at the conclusion of 2023 will be 3-29.

Nike’s signature Sabrina 1s

Sabrina introduced her trademark sneakers, the “Sabrina 1s,” earlier this year. These are Nike’s first unisex footwear. This explains why a number of NBA players have adopted the sneakers. The “Beyond” hue is the most recent addition to Sabrina 1’s collection of sneakers. The sneaker highlights the different lives of female athletes and celebrates women’s athletic skills, drawing inspiration from Ionescu’s career both on and off the court.

The Swoosh label’s Athlete Think Tank group, which consists of 13 female athletes committed to elevating voices, served as the inspiration for the sneakers, which are available in a variety of colors, including black, light silver, summit white, platinum violet, and dark grey. Some of its details, such as the capital “Welcome Sabrina!” inscription on the insole, enhance the sneaker’s appearance.
