In Caitlin Clark’s portfolio of many talents, her latest announcement might unlock another title to her name. The Indiana Fever guard has already made the world fall in love with her through her basketball exploits, but now she is exclusively curating something far from the hardwood for kids, prompting her teammates, like Sophie Cunningham and Raven Johnson, to react.

At the moment, it’s quite well known that the two-time WNBA All-Star is authoring a children’s book titled “EXTRAordinary: A Little Extra to reach Big Dreams”. In a recent Instagram post, Clark shared a hard copy of it, along with brief details about its availability. “BIG NEWS! I wrote a picture book 🥹,” Clark’s caption read. “Illustrated by @adriillustration.Available wherever books are sold on November 3, 2026! Pre-order your copy from @randomhousekids at the link in their bio.”
Her teammates, in turn, were overwhelmed by the Instagram post and flooded the comments section. Cunningham wrote, “Noah and Pippy are going to love this 💕.” “She’s an author!!!” commented Lexie Hull. “Yesss just for me 😁😁” chimed in Johnson, while Fever GM Amber Cox stated on X, “So cool. What can’t she do?!”
These gestures by her teammates say a lot about the camaraderie they share off the court. We’ve seen teammates like Cunningham literally stand up for Clark on the court last season. But that bond doesn’t fade away outside the hardwood, and Clark’s teammates and even Front Office members don’t hesitate to celebrate her achievements.
And to be honest, Caitlin Clark’s latest announcement does ask for such recognition. Since CC’s foray into the basketball circuit, a number of books have been written about her. For instance, in 2025, Random House Publishers published “Caitlin Clark: A Little Golden Book Biography.”
It was based on CC’s stint in Iowa and became quite a hit. But “EXTRAordinary” is a bit more special because it’s authored by Clark herself. While it adds the title of author beside her name, the book also conveys her sheer will to inspire kids around the world.
Clark’s upcoming book is based on a simple mantra. It helps kids understand the sheer effort it takes to make the leap from ordinary to extraordinary. And all of these learnings stem from the sport that has given Clark everything: basketball.

“Basketball has given me so many incredible opportunities, but what has always meant the most to me are the people who’ve supported me along the way,” Clark had said. “I hope this book reminds kids that they’re never alone in chasing their dreams and that giving a little extra to the people and moments is what makes them EXTRAordinary.”
Caitlin Clark’s book is 32 pages long and is written in every possible way to appeal to kids, with illustrations and simple language. All in all, it will be interesting to see how the masses respond to Clark’s book when it is released on November 3.
While the Indiana Fever guard continues to explore her off-court portfolio, her stock in the basketball community is also rising exponentially.
Caitlin Clark Continues to Build History Around Her Personal Brand
Over the years, a question has been quite consistent around Clark: What’s the ceiling of her impact? As reality set in, the CC effect’s ceiling seems to be on par with that of NBA athletes. The crux of the assessment is the latest numbers of jersey sales for various athletes since 2024.
In this metric, Caitlin Clark has reportedly surpassed NBA veteran LeBron James and Luka Doncic, a 6-time All-Star. She’s just behind Steph Curry on the list. And subsequently, it is yet another testament to Clark’s compounding impact in the hoops community.
But in the last few years, Clark’s impact hasn’t been restricted to basketball. It would be fair to say that the Fever guard has become more of a cultural icon in the Indianapolis region. One of the latest examples came in a recent announcement naming Clark the grand marshal of the Indy 500.
It’s yet another personal milestone for the Fever guard, who is just looking to grow her brand in any way possible. In the basketball foray, though, Clark is currently facing a slight caveat.
The Fever guard has sustained a stiff back. It also forced her to miss the Portland Fire game on Wednesday. But before that, her performance has been spot-on. In all the games she played before missing the Fire game, Clark had consistently scored 20+ points. Thus, from a form perspective, there’s no doubt that CC is doing quite well.
And as for the injury, it’s quite certain that Caitlin Clark will quickly get things back to normal. The Fever’s next game is on Friday against the Golden State Valkyries at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
