“Opportunities, man, when opportunities come your way, you have to take advantage of them,” said Keirstan Bell back in August 2023. That is the ideology the Las Vegas Aces star holds close to her heart. After all, her journey in navigating the WNBA has rarely been easy. At one point, she had to call up her mom and ask her, “What am I doing wrong? Why is life so hard?” Now, things have changed, thanks to finding the right opportunities and making use of an enhanced on-court role with the Aces. In just one season, her average scoring went up from 2.8 points per game in the 2024 season to 4.2 points per game in the 2025 season. As Jackie Young said, “It’s cool to look at her now and see how far she’s come”.

Where is Kierstan Bell from, and What is Kierstan Bell’s Nationality?

Keirstan Bell was reportedly born in Alliance, Ohio, back in March 2000. Her parents, Perry Bell and Amanda Hubbs, sent her to the Canton McKinley High School located in Canton, Ohio. It was there that she first set the foundation of her basketball career. After that, Bell went to Ohio State for one season before transferring to Florida Gulf Coast University. The 18.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2.2 assists she averaged in 80 games allowed her to be taken in as the 11th overall pick during the 2022 WNBA Draft. The rest, as they say, is history. Kierstan Bell’s official FIBA profile lists her nationality as USA, thereby making her of American origin.

What is Kierstan Bell’s ethnicity?

There’s no public information about Kierstan Bell’s ethnicity. The same goes for her parents, too. As we reported before, all we know is that she was born in Ohio.

Her hometown of Alliance/Canton, Ohio, is in a region with a significant African American population, and her high school (Canton McKinley) has a diverse student body with strong representation from Black communities. Comparisons in media, such as being called “the female LeBron” (referencing LeBron James, who is African American and also from Ohio), further imply this context.

Is Kierstan Bell Christian?

There are no credible sources that have provided any information on what religion Kierstan Bell follows. During an interview with ‘Canton Rep’, Bell discussed reuniting with her father and stated, in the end, that “You just own up to what you did, take care of it, and let the rest play into God’s hands.” This shows that the player holds some religious beliefs. However, she didn’t go into detail then, or later, about what religion they pertain to.

With Kierstan Bell entering her 3rd Finals series, it remains to be seen what role she will play to help the Aces progress as they go head-to-head against the Phoenix Mercury.
