Marina Mabrey turned heads when she entered the league in 2019. And though the 5’11” guard only showed flashes of her talent during her rookie stint with the Los Angeles Sparks, averaging 4.0 points, 1.2 rebounds, and 1.0 assists in 31 games, those glimpses were enough to earn her praise from all corners. After being traded to the Dallas Wings in 2020, she took a bigger leap: 10.6 PPG, 3.3 RPG, 2.4 APG, and 1.4 SPG in around 20 minutes per game over 19 outings. Now with the Connecticut Sun, Mabrey has elevated her game even further, becoming a true force on both ends of the floor. Where is Marina Mabrey from, and what is her nationality?
Marina Mabrey is a 28-year-old basketball player. She was born on September 14, 1996, in a less-populated borough of Belmar. The district is situated off the coast of New Jersey. She is an American national by birth, who grew up with a strong basketball background. She developed a love for basketball at a very young age. But it was during her time at Manasquan High School that she found her true calling for the sport.

She represented her school at the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) and won the Tournament of Champions (TOC). Twice. And then, there was no looking back for the athlete. Moreover, the 2015 All-McDonald MVP followed her sister’s footsteps and committed to the Notre Dame program in 2015.
