Because a heart that beats strong, beats the competition every time,” it read. She also partnered with Powerade earlier in January 2025, sharing a few pictures with the power drink on Instagram.

Besides these two, Puisis had NIL deals with brands like Athletes Treads, Influxer Merch, and the NIL store during her stint as a college athlete.

Why was Sammie Puisis waived by the Chicago Sky?

The Chicago Sky officially announced on May 03, 2025, that they have decided to waive off Sammie Puisis. Other players on Sky’s team including Arella Guirantes and Tilly Boler were also waived off on Saturday. Shocking as it may sound, while the Sky won 89-62, Puisis left her mark on the team with an average of 2 points, 1 rebound, on one to six field goal attempts.

The guard was expected to be an asset for the Sky with her field goal percentage reading 37.9 and 37.8 from beyond the arc. That’s a skill Tyler Marsh would prioritize, too. But with 18 on the training camp roster and the regular season limit set at 11 to 12 players, the team, aiming for multi-dimensional athletes, had to weigh their cards.
