Azzi Fudd has established herself as a key player in the Dallas Wings‘ setup and is now looking to inspire younger players with an expanded, 10th anniversary edition of her training camp. Having won the recent All-Star three-point contest, Fudd is now shaping the next generation of basketball players with her annual youth summer basketball camp. And fans are showering their praise for the initiative. She shared the news of the ten-year milestone in an Instagram post.

“10 years. 2 cities. 1 very full heart. 🥹🏀. DC on Sept 6, and for the first time ever, Azzi Fudd Basketball Camp is heading to Dallas on Sept 12-13. Ages 7-18, co-ed, all skill levels welcome at both.”

For Fudd, this year’s edition marks the first one to be held in Dallas, per her Instagram post. Dallas is also the team that drafted her first overall in the 2026 WNBA draft. Before this, the camp was held annually in Washington, D.C. This year’s camp will host players aged 7-18 and will focus on developing basketball skills at all levels. It promises an “elite experience” as well as a meet-and-greet with the Wings star.

Azzi Fudd‘s camp last year, held in Washington, D.C., saw over 200 campers arrive to take part. It was her largest camp to date, per CT Insider’s Maggie Vanoni. In 2025, the camp registrations opened in June and were reportedly full in under two weeks. Fudd holds strong ties with the basketball community, and she remains grateful for their support, as she told CT Insider last year

“Just the fact that they continue to come every year means a lot to me, and then to see new faces show up, like, the way this has grown, I never would have imagined this. Could never have predicted this. It’s so special.”

Fudd reportedly began the camp during her time in middle school. She continued the project through her incredible college career. At UConn, she and Dallas guard Paige Bueckers helped the Huskies to their 12th national championship. Her remarkable career led to a historic $500,000 rookie contract under the league’s updated Collective Bargaining Agreement. In comparison, 2025 first overall pick Bueckers signed a 3-year, $247,688 contract with the Dallas Wings.

Now part of the Wings, she is averaging 13.3 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game this season. Across 28 games, she has maintained her lethal shooting form, averaging 38.8% accuracy from three-point range and 46% from the field. Beyond her perimeter scoring, Fudd has been a reliable defensive anchor, averaging 1.7 steals per game. She’s also been making a name for herself in WNBA events.

Fudd recently became the first rookie ever to win the 3-Point Contest, defeating Portland Fire forward Bridget Carleton. She leveraged her spotlight to publicly challenge NBA superstar Stephen Curry to a shooting rematch—rekindling a playful rivalry that dates back to her high school days when she attended his basketball camp. Fudd has now established herself enough for her camp to draw such enormous numbers.

Fans are mindful that Fudd remains firm for what she believes in, and this project too directly affects the well-being of children. Fudd’s camp supports the Abigail Zittoun Family Foundation. The foundation is involved in providing economic support to children battling illness.

For now, Fudd and Co. will focus on making the playoffs as they stand 6th in the standings, with an 18-11 record for the 2026 season.
