Clark, who has been a Nike athlete since 2022, has been closely involved in designing her debut sneaker, set to release in spring 2026. For her shoes, she has focused on technology, comfort, and unique details that will make them stand out, and while that was enough to create a buzz.

“Obviously, I play in a lot of Kobe’s, but I don’t, at the same time, I don’t want it to be a Kobe,” she said. “I want to be something very unique to me and a little bit different.”
Until her own signature shoe arrives, Caitlin Clark has been wearing various Kobe PE models, including a custom Rookie of the Year edition. But while she admires their technology and style, her own debut sneaker will chart new territory.

“So exciting!!! I think she might release how the shoes look or something soon because when Sabrina Ionescu went to Nike head quarters she posted how her shoes looked a couple years ago, “one fan wrote. While another fan added, “I can’t wait! Hopefully, Nike does their big one with her shoes! & I’m excited to see her collabs. Her & Steph or her and Sab collabs would be crazyyy!!”
When Ionescu visited Nike HQ in late 2022 and early 2023, she used behind-the-scenes visits and social media to tease small details, creating a buzz while keeping the full design under wraps, before the Sabrina 1 officially launched in March. The result? Fans dissected every post, and by the time they launched, it wasn’t just limited to the WNBA, as they became popular among NBA players as well.
