After recently sharing posts on Instagram, which showed her holding her passport and climbing up the stairs of an aircraft, Angel Reese again gave us a glimpse of her travel diary.

She shared a pic of her itinerary showing her bag with the “Orlando Magic Berlin Global Games” tag, followed by a video of her aircraft sailing in the sky. As it seems, Reese is on her way to Berlin to cheer for her man, Wendell Carter Jr.

Carter Jr. will be in Berlin as they take on the Memphis Grizzlies in the January 15 showdown at the Uber Arena.

Reese’s reported closeness to Wendell gained traction last year in May when Carter Jr. was spotted at Reese’s 23rd birthday party. He started showing up at her games wearing Angel Reese t-shirts, which made it quite clear that it was more than friendship.

The confirmation was finally received when Carter Jr. officially called Angel “my girl” and stated, “We locked in.”

Now, as Reese is dealing with a back injury, she is indulging more in off-court ventures. She is looking to fulfill other commitments that become difficult when the regular season is underway. This isn’t exactly the first time, either, that Angel is queuing up to support her man.

She showed up in an all-glam avatar, draped in pink from head to toe to support Carter Jr. and his team as they squared off against the Chicago Bulls.

Angel Reese’s investment skyrockets the skincare brand’s funding

With fame, opulence follows, and Angel Reese’s career trajectory is no exception.

Recently, Reese invested in Topicals, increasing the company’s valuation to a staggering $22.6 million funding round. One of the important facets of the skincare brand is that it is an African-American-led product founded by Olamide Olowe, and it perfectly resonates with Reese’s commitment to supporting businesses that reflect her values and community.

Reese makes the bulk of her earnings from these endorsement deals. Her $9.4 million net worth has only been made possible because of her association with such major global corporations.

Just take a look at her earnings from the WNBA, and it would become clear as day as to why they have catapulted her wealth.

In 2025, Reese earned roughly $74,000 from playing basketball, which is expected to increase to about $82,000 in 2026. That’s obviously good for a player of her caliber, but not great when NBA players are making more ($3.8 million median salary for the 2024-25 season).

Looking at the marketing factor that Reese brings into the game, the CBA needs to be finalized with the amendments made in full effect so that nobody gets “ripped off,” especially stars like Angel Reese, who are doing so much to elevate the women’s game beyond expectations.
