The Battle Royale genre is no easy place for a newcomer to venture into. Immensely popular games like Fortnite, PUBG, and Apex Legends were already ruling the roost. At first glance, it looked like there was no place for another big player(read, title) in the genre. However, that expectation was dashed when Infinity Ward launched Call of Duty Warzone back in March. It took the title less than a week to be confirmed a success. For the most part, it is loved by millions of users. However, as with every game, not everyone is a fan even if they play it regularly. Summit1g had some chastising words for the game during a broadcast.

Summit1g Rages Over Call of Duty Warzone

A few features and deviations from other BR games set Call of Duty Warzone apart. First off, it features a 150 player battleground. Naturally, the Warzone maps are quite huge compared to most other BRs. If you’ve played Warzone, you’ve probably encountered a few rooftop campers yourself. So has summit1g, and it absolutely blew his top when a camper got him today.

As he does every now and then, summit could not help but rant away as he waited for another match in Warzone.

“Why do you guys have a game with just building-tops everywhere, that you can just sit on top of. Nobody thought of that? Nobody thought like ‘hey this is probably gonna be more campy than PUBG?'”

“This is not a battle royale bro, this is camping simulator. You wanna go into a f**king game and camp your d**k off, this is the one. I think this is the worst battle royale that exists today, hands down,” he said. “You guys thought, coming up with a battle royale and leaving every rooftop open after a gulag, that you can just spawn on(rooftop) again!”

Summit1g sure was in no mood to mince his words now, was he.

While the “worst battle royale” part is debatable (or downright not true), he does have a very good point about the rooftops. Campers are a major source of frustration to many players but give them a nice little rooftop and it just blows your tops too sometimes.
