Earlier while leaving for Wimbledon Championships 2021, Nick Kyrgios had asked for his mixed doubles partner suggestions on his Instagram handle. Now the search has ended with tennis legend Venus Williams all set to partner Kyrgios in London.

Kyrgios had earlier asked on his Instagram handle: “Mixed doubles for Wimbledon. Who wants in?”

Kyrgios comes into Wimbledon after not playing since the Australian Open 2021. Whereas Venus Williams needed a wildcard to compete in singles as her ranking has plummeted in recent years. And both Kyrgios and Venus are capable doubles players and hence when they both were free, it made sense to team up and play entertaining tennis.
