While WWE has been making headlines left and right with Dwayne Johnson rumors and Royal Rumble performances, AEW is also climbing its way up. While not as big as WWE in any way, the company is building from the ground up.

In the start, every news that came out of AEW was about another ex-WWE wrestler joining the company, but now they have homegrown talent-making news. This homegrown talent is none other than Wardlow.

The powerhouse is a behemoth in the ring who is also a great technical wrestler. He got his start in the company as the bodyguard of MJF. Seeing MJF’s popularity, Wardlow rubbed off a lot of skills and fans from his former boss. But now he is alone and tearing up people.

After winning the TNT title last year, Wardlow was taken out in December. For an entire month, he didn’t appear on TV. This built up intrigue around the title and Wardlow’s return, and just this past Wednesday, Wardlow returned and people are loving it.

These three hardcore wrestlers will go to any number of lengths to put on a banger of a match, so we can’t wait for it.

This isn’t the first time that people have compared Wardlow to early WWE Batista. Even the man himself talked about the former World Champ being a big influence on his career.

People in the comments can’t stop saying that Wardlow’s new haircut makes him look like a buffed-up version of another wrestler Frankie Kazarian.
