But Gauff’s coach and Andre Agassi’s ex-coach showed a picture that shows his ultimate collection of mementos from the US Open.

Gauff’s and Djokovic’s rackets alone did not become precious items. After Aryna Sabalenka lost her last match, she went to the locker room and had an outburst, including her racket. The racket became a sought-after item as Sabalenka gave it away.

Any item used by the players in a final of a tournament at the level of a grand slam becomes something fans desire to keep with them. But most of the time, they cannot get their hands on it. Winning major tournaments wins you prestige and far-reaching recognition, as evidenced by Gauff’s win. And that is evidenced by other tennis personalities vying to get their hands on prestigious memorabilia. Brad Gilbert managed to snag the biggest equipment from the Grand Slam finals. He shared a picture on his X profile where he showed his mementos of the final.

In his possession, he had the signed rackets used by Coco Gauff and Novak Djokovic in their last win against their opponents. He shared the picture where the rackets were arranged in the form of an ‘X’. He also added the caption, “the 2 champions ⁦@usopen⁩ sticks @CocoGauff @DjokerNole👊😎🙏💪“.

He has some of the most precious items in his collection and will never let them out of his sight. While these two rackets became the highlight for Gilbert, the racket of a finalist became the highlight of a fan.

After she lost to Coco Gauff in the US Open final, Sabalenka expressed her disappointment and frustration. She went to her locker room after her loss, pulled her racket out from her kit, and proceeded to smash it many times. She seemingly calmed down a little after she smashed her racket, but continued forward towards the dustbin and threw the racket in it.

Later, a Reddit post showed that Sabalenka asked her team to retrieve the racket and gave it to a fan and clicked a picture with them. Three rackets from the US Open final became the objects that two people will cherish for their lives.
