Regardless of Karolina’s incredible return from the dead, Ashleigh seemed unbothered. The Australian continued playing in the form of her life, living up to her rank. Even so, Karolina’s fight for the title will surely be remembered for a long time. Her journey to the top was an impeccable one, with some big wins and some tough challenges. However, the scoreline ended 6-3, 6-7, 6-3 in favor of Ashleigh Barty.
