Following his incredible triumph, Alcaraz, the Wimbledon champion, honored a long-standing custom by dancing with Barbora Krejcikova, the winner of the women’s singles championship, after she defeated Jasmine Paolini. Their joyous dance, which encapsulated the happy spirit of their joint accomplishment, swiftly went popular on social media.

Along with that, Krejcikova fondly recalled the dance moment, and said, “I think we did quite well, neither of us are great dancers. I guess he, being Spanish, should be better than the Czechs. But yeah, I think I guess you saw the video. Did you see the video? No? It was on Twitter everywhere.”

Alcaraz seemed visibly anxious when he found out on the court that he would be dancing the customary dance with the winner of the women’s singles championship. Unlike his confidence on the tennis court, Alcaraz wasn’t as sure of his dancing skills. He laughed and acknowledged the impending challenge, expressing both amusement and excitement. “I wish I could dance better; let’s see tonight, ha,” he added.
