French Open scheduling nightmare for American tennis fans

As the Roland Garros is abuzz with great matches one after the other, followers of the sport are watching all the action they expected. However, American viewers are frustrated with how the championship is being broadcasted in the country. They are lashing out on Twitter about the issues and more users share their experience of what they are experiencing.

One user made the problems of his countrymen known. They tweeted, “Let me get this straight. In order to be a fan of tennis in the United States, you have to have access to *checks notes* Tennis Channel, Tennis Channel+, ESPN, ESPN+, NBC, and Peacock? The lack of interest in tennis has nothing, NOTHING to do with best of five sets.”

One follower talked about how it would be cheaper to actually watch the matches at the Stade Roland Garros in Paris than on streaming service.

One user said that they had the subscription to Tennis+ but still ended up missing out on many matches.

As the fight for proper scheduling continues, European and viewers from the rest of the world face no issues. They can watch the tennis event in one location without any problems. This will surely increase the appeal of the sport to the younger generation.
