Days After Shining in an Ocean-Color Dress, Jessica Pegula Elucidates Her Sister’s Influence in Her Vanity Fair Shoot

Ahead of the US Open, tennis players are getting ready to take over the world with their rackets. But before that, other American tennis players, including Jessica Pegula, Frances Tiafoe, Ben Shelton, and Danielle Collins, shined in a Vanity Fair photoshoot, looking their best. Pegula, who has received a lot of accolades for her fashion sense, recently discussed her stunning dress.

The Canadian Open champion recently made a significant revelation about the amazing outfit she wore for the photograph after winning the first round at the Western and Southern Open. Along with that, she shared her sister’s involvement in her Vanity Fair shoot.

Jessica Pegula details her sister’s contribution to her dreamy photoshoot 

Just before getting ready to rule the Cincinnati Masters, the 29-year-old American tennis player stepped up her fashion game by dazzling in the Vanity Fair photoshoot. Although she looked stunning in an ocean-blue dress in the pictures, her fashion sense stood out on a different level, as everybody who was a part of the shoot tried to pull out something amazing.

Recently, in an interview with Tennis Channel after the first-round victory, she said the dress came to life. In addition, she also acknowledged her sister, Kelly Pegula’s, contribution to selecting the best outfit for her.

The WTA world no.3 said, “I’ll give my sister a shout-out, Kelly, because she actually picked the dress. They had a couple of different options, and she was like, ‘Nah, I don’t like that. I don’t like that.'” She thinks she knows everything, so then I was like, ‘Okay, calm down,’ but then she’s like, ‘What about this dress?’ And I was like, ‘Oh, kind of like that.'”

Well, her sister, who is actually a fashion designer, made her sister’s photoshoot memorable by picking the best outfit for her. But, this is not the first time the 29-year-old has been grateful to her sister. Nearly a month ago, when she revealed the personal insight regarding her mother’s health, she talked highly about her sister Kelly and how she literally saved their mother’s life.

When Pegula talked about her sister’s CPR skills

Just a few days ago, in a conversation with The Players Tribune, she revealed an instance that literally shook their family last year. She talked about how last year, just after the French Open, she got a horrifying call from her sister. Her sister was staying at her parent’s house, and the call was about her mother’s health.

Along with that, she revealed how her mother suffered a sudden cardiac arrest, and it was her sister Kelly who saved her life by giving her continuous CPR until the ambulance arrived at their house. Moreover, she also credited her sister for saving their mother’s life in such a distressing situation. Considering such experiences, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that the 29-year-old tennis player shares an amazing connection with her sister.
