“I am extremely happy,” Svitolina wrote, “that my friends, special guests, and partners care about the development of sports and the future of young tennis players! I am incredibly grateful to everyone who came together for our common purpose!”

From here, the newly-wed Svitolina will look forward to spending the holidays with her husband, Gael Monfils. Without any doubt, they make up for one of the most delightful and fun-loving couples in tennis.

Svitolina still awaiting her maiden Grand Slam title

Inarguably, the former World No.3 has one of the most consistent players on the WTA Tour. When it comes to the major tournaments, Svitolina hasn’t been able to go all the way.

Considering her talent and gameplay, it is only a matter of time. However, the question still remains: will Svitolina put in everything to make 2022 her year?
