This is the first time the amazing duo is competing in the same tournament and has successfully made an opening breakthrough. While the entire tennis world is adoring the sporting pair, there is one tennis personality who is also impressed by the way they are staging couple-goals in the tennis arena.
Well, it’s none other than the American tennis legend, Chris Evert, who has literally seen the two tennis players grow as sporting figures. And is now amazed by how they are enjoying their phase as tennis players and as an amazing couple.

The former world number 6 tennis player yesterday won an almost-gone match against Sebastian Baez by making an amazing comeback in the last set. Similarly, just 14 hours after his magical victory, his wife, Svitolina, also climbed a ladder. She advanced to the third round by defeating Storm Sanders in the second. However, seeing them amaze on the clay court literally impressed the 18-time Grand Slam champion, and she wrote an emotional message for the couple.

Evert took to her Twitter account and retweeted a post that a tennis fan had shared. The post talked about how the tennis couple is passionate about playing tennis. And that to win in such a way, they both won matches in the same tournament and on the same day itself. After the French tennis player won the first round, he watched his wife take another step in the tournament.
Seeing Monfils’ never-ending love for the 28-year-old tennis player, the formal tennis player shared an emotional message. She wrote, “These two…. So inspirational….passionate… They know how life should be lived…”
The pair got married in 2021 and welcomed their daughter, Skai Monfils, in 2022. However, their darling daughter is also in Paris with them and is encouraging her parents, making their participation even more special. But even after being married, they continued their love for tennis and forwent their honeymoon to compete in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

However, we won’t be able to have some more adorable, loving moments with them at the French Open.
Monfils withdrew from the French Open
The Frenchmen’s prior injury troubles were the main reason why they were unable to compete in the same tournament. However, despite an incredible first-round winning streak, the tennis player is still dealing with injuries.

Nevertheless, Monfils was prepared to face Holger Rune in the second round. But pulled out due to a wrist injury after winning the first round. On the other hand, his wife has advanced to the third round of the tournament.
