Recently, the 30-year-old Canadian tennis player took to her Instagram account to share how she achieved her, “first pickleball win!!!” As she is currently focusing on improving her pickleball skills, Eugenie Bouchard’s most-awaited first victory of the pickleball tour came because of a walkover that her opponent did.

She shared a screenshot of her phone in which there was a message that clearly talked about how the Canadian had defeated another inactive tennis player, Dominique Schaefer. Along with that, she herself laughed out loud over her victory. She silently, in small letters, wrote the reason behind such an achievement, “by walkover.”

She reacted to the story with a laughing-out-loud emoji, highlighting how she even felt the same about the victory. But on the other hand, there was an ATP player who was quite happy with the way things turned out to be. It was none other than her dear pickleball friend, Sam Querry, who was also previously a popular tennis player.
