But the former hitting partner of Serena Williams, who coached Naomi Osaka during her 2018 US Open victory came to the defence of Raducanu. He outrightly bashed the ATP players for speaking without any basis. He stated, “Sometimes I have to apologize for us men being ignorant. I know it’s all fun and games but come on, we gotta be better then that.” He added, “Both of you. She’s the 20 year old one and you guys acting like babies.”

The harsh criticism was too much for Sandgren, who retorted with an equally harsh statement. He stated, “You owe me 100 push ups for this tweet. White knighting is strictly forbidden.”

However, attributing Bajin to an outsider was not enough to make him take a step back. Sascha Bajin humorously replied, Thank god you didn’t say squats I can manage some push-ups.” Clearing the side he is on, he added, “You know I had to stand up for my side (WTA).”

Now this might hurt the two ATP players, but Bajin thinks Raducanu has had enough. A lot of fellow players have come in support of Raducanu. One such is the American tennis sensation Coco Gauff.
