It’s no news that top athletes from other sports love playing golf in the off-season. We have seen the likes of Rafael Nadal and Casper Ruud spend plenty of time on the golf courses. The Golden State Warriors star has been doing pretty much the same in the off-season. In fact, he is also excelling at it.

After a long NBA post-season, Stephen Curry was due a relaxing off-season. He has spent quality time with his family and friends so far. The last weekend, he stepped onto a golf course and stunned everyone in the celebrity league. The NBA star received plenty of applause and one of them was from the tennis GOAT’s husband.

Serena Williams’ husband reacts to Stephen Curry’s golf heroics

In the American Century Championship, Stephen Curry registered a heroic feat. He pulled off a hole-in-one from a distance of 152 yards. The crowd erupted and so did Curry as he ran all the way to the flag. It was the first-ever hole-in-one on the 152-yard 7th at the American Century Championship. Quite, a remarkable achievement for someone who is not a professional golfer.

Serena Williams‘ husband, Alexis Ohanian was in awe of Curry. He acknowledged his efforts on his Instagram story by reposting the clip. The Reddit co-founder also added a caption which read, “The golf revolution is upon us. @stephencurry30 has been one of the leaders for some time now.” Ohanian has been one of the biggest advocates for the golf revolution as he has become a part of Tiger Woods’ new golf league.

The couple has purchased one of the teams in the upcoming golf league that is called TGL. In fact, Serena and Ohanian were the first of the six team owners.  The ownership of the Los Angeles Golf Club will not just lay in the hands of the couple. Their daughter Olympia also happens to be the co-owner thereby becoming one of the youngest co-owners of a team in the history of professional sports.
