The four majors throughout the year leave fans in anticipation of the outfits the players are going to wear. But this year’s US Open has drawn some eyes, not necessarily good ones, to the outfits of some ATP players. The most talked about are the Nike custom-designed outfits for Frances Tiafoe and Carlos Alcaraz. However, despite being Tiafoe’s close friend and compatriot, Coco Gauff has not held back from roasting his outfit.

Coco Gauff sides with Carlos Alcaraz

The 20-year-old Spanish sensation has been striding along the US Open confidently. Similarly, one of America’s favorite, Frances Tiafoe, has been doing the same. Both the ATP players have had their outfits made by Nike. But that does not guarantee perfection, as has been made clear by Coco Gauff.

In her post-match conference, Gauff gave a hilarious verdict on Tiafoe’s outfit. Going back to the French Open, Gauff talked about the suspense Tiafoe had created. She stated, “Frances told me at the French Open he had something crazy planned for the US Open.”

Besides, Alcaraz’s outfit has a deeper meaning. It has found its inspiration from none other than the outfit of his idol.
