However, a former American professional star believes that Coco Gauff has surpassed him when it comes to popularity, owing to her performances in 2023.
Gauff had a difficult start last year. But the teenage star managed to turn it around when the American hardcourt season rolled around after Wimbledon. Her efforts certainly served to impress the American star.

Her recent episode was dedicated to Gauff after her recent controversy at the Dubai Tennis Championships. In the same episode, she also said Gauff has now become more popular than the 24-time grand slam champion.

While Forbes has already listed this 19-year-old as one of the world’s richest athletes, Gauff’s sponsorship and commercials are unlikely to end anytime soon. RayBan and Meta recently announced their collaboration on a new project, RayBan’s AI-enhanced smart eyewear. They chose Gauff as one of the leading stars to promote their new project.
