Zheng Qinwen’s coach opens up about her dedication to tennis 

Recently, after the semi-final victory, during the post-match press conference, her coach, who trained Coco Gauff when she won her first Grand Slam title during the US Open a few months ago, opened up about the qualities that make the Chinese players stand out from the crowd.

Riba talked about how she has never seen a player like the 21-year-old in his life as a coach who is always ready to practice and is a hard-working player. Not only that, he stated that even after practicing the same thing for long hours and long days, she has always been dedicated to the sport and has never been tired of practicing tennis.

He said, “To be honest, I have to say sometimes we are getting angry, because she wants to do it more, and me, I have to stop her. I never pass in my life this. Then you can imagine the dreams that have Qinwen, that she really wants to be there in the top, and I’m really, really happy for her, because she deserve it.”
