Along with Evert, the well-known Australian tennis coach, Rennae Stubbs, didn’t feel good about L’Equipe’s list. She also took to her social media account and replied to Abramowicz’s tweet, “Absolutely ridiculous!!!”

According to the publication, the 20-year-old British tennis star, along with Naomi Osaka, did not fare well on the Tour this year. The 2021 US Open champion this year battled a variety of injuries, and after winning her maiden Grand Slam championship and reaching her highest-career ranking of number 10. She dropped to the number 80 spot in the WTA rankings this year.

The Italian tennis player, who began the year in the top 10, was also highlighted in the newspaper. Despite his efforts, he was unable to win any titles.
