Iga Swiatek picks her All-Star tennis team

The excitement for the NBA All-Star game is real, and now it has also reached the tennis arena. Recently, the 22-year-old WTA star answered a few questions related to the all-star event. In a recent press conference in Dubai, she was asked to pick an All-Stars team from her tour, just like the NBA one.

At first, she openly shared her take on her connection with the NBA. She stated, “I don’t really watch this. I don’t really watch NBA.” Further, she picked 7 names other than herself and created a dream team, with whom she would like to play an all-star tennis game.

Swiatek stated, “Yes (laughter). I’m European. I don’t watch the NBA (smiling). Well, I would say me, Aryna, Novak, Sinner, Alcaraz, Elena, and Ons. I mean, that’s the obvious answer. And Rafa, yeah.” She started off by saying that from the WTA she would have Aryna Sabalenka, one of her biggest rivals, and Elena Rybakina, her Qatar Open final opponent, then Ons Jabeur.
