Their presence not only shows how crucial the sport of tennis has now become but has also ignited the interest of many other people watching the finale match now.

Zendaya’s presence at the tournament is also rooted in her role in her movie Challengers where she played the role of a tennis player which was inspired a lot by Serena Williams. In fact, time and again Zendaya shared how much of a fan girl she is of the Williams family, especially Serena, and how she used that inspiration in her role in the movie ‘Challengers’.

She stated, “I knew enough about tennis, but not really. Like, I knew Serena Williams, right? To be able to dive into that world and have to learn it, very hands-on, was special. Now I think it’s one of my favorite sports, especially to watch.”

It is not a surprise that Serena Williams had such an impact on a person, especially someone playing a role in a movie about the sport. Of course, anyone doing a movie around tennis would take inspiration from legendary players and Serena Williams certainly tops that list.
