Persevering against the former world No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki and the French Open finalist, Karolina Muchova, Gauff has reached the finals. Now, she will go against the Belarusian tennis star Aryna Sabalenka for the US Open title. However, despite all that, the former coach of Venus and Serena Williams has some reservations which keeps Carlos Alcaraz one step ahead of her.

Though it was a short and crisp verdict from Macci, Gauff has proved her worth on the court. None of the players proved to be too challenging for Gauff to take down on the court.
But the verdict on Alcaraz is also not wrong. This is backed by the German star, Alexander Zverev, who has had a go against both Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic.
