Maria Sharapova attends Roger Federer’s recent launch dinner

Just like last year, the fans of Maria Sharapova were waiting for her to grace the Vanity Fair party. But rather than attending the Oscars, she is currently in Los Angeles, where she attended Roger Federer’s collaboration launch dinner with the 63 million-dollar sunglasses brand, Oliver Peoples.

A lot of celebrities attended the event that was held barely a day ago, but only one person from the tennis world made an appearance. The famous five-time Grand Slam champion attended the opening event with her signature style and grace.

As expected, the 36-year-old icon wore a black pantsuit, that added to her elegant look. Her flowing hair and indisputable shine enhanced her overall attractiveness. In addition, a lot of pictures of her with the 42-year-old tennis player are going around on the internet, and both of them were found smiling happily at the cameras.

Not only that, in one of the pictures, both of them were seen standing together with Lindsey Vonn, the popular American alpine ski racer, who donned a red suit for the launch dinner. Last year, after breaking the news of the new partnership with the million-dollar brand, Federer opened up about his vision behind the collaboration.

Last year, in an interview with GQ, while breaking the news on the new partnership with Oliver Peoples, Federer created a sunglasses design that he was inspired to make. He stated, “I am always on the go with my four children. These frames have to be solid around the head and not fall off with, you know, the first flick of the neck.”

Apart from owning a well-fitting pair of sunglasses, he also drew inspiration from the 2000 film, Mission: Impossible II. Even with sunglasses on, Tom Cruise was spotted free-climbing in the desert in that movie. That was the moment that lingered in Federer’s mind—how can sunglasses withstand extreme conditions and still function well?
