The Swiss Maestro, Roger Federer, himself has raved about the iconic serve of Serena Williams. Revered for her aggressive gameplay and astounding serves, Serena Williams has set the bar for what a player should have. And that is something even her former coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, who severed ties with her to join hands with her rival Simona Halep last year, agrees to. The tennis legend has bid the sport farewell, but her astounding legacy continues to be revered.

The controversy last year hit the headlines when Patrick Mouratoglou, who worked with Serena Williams for almost a decade, decided to join hands with Simona Halep. However, that does not mean he has forgotten her legacy.

Recently, it was her former coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, who reminisced about her praiseworthy gameplay. As the question was posed about the beholder of the most beautiful service motion, Patrick Mouratoglou did not hesitate in naming Serena Williams.

Interestingly, Roger Federer has mainly become the center of attraction for his serene service motion. The coach himself has hailed and broken down the technicalities of Federer’s serve in the past. Moreover, many young players even try to imitate the legend’s serve.

Moving on to Serena and Patrick, the duo parted ways last year when the French coach announced his departure from the partnership. He then went on and joined hands with the Romanian player, Simona Halep. Unfortunately, she is currently dealing with a doping controversy.

Williams announced her retirement from professional tennis last year. And her former coach, Mouratoglou, attributed it to her distractions and wished she could play.

The French coach and the American tennis legend had a holistic coach-player relationship for ten years. However, last year, Mouratoglou decided to part ways with her. Later that year, Williams announced her retirement.

However, Mouratoglou wished to see Williams still play on the court. He also vouched for her ability to play because of her exceptional talents. But he attributed her off-court endeavors to distractions that have taken her away from the sport.
